The watch

Three world firsts.

A jumping flap hour, a case ring bored from meteorite, and a micro-rotor cut from the same stone.

The Singular Vision of Time

The Grandeur Monocle represents a decisive moment in contemporary haute horlogerie—where mechanical audacity, material innovation, and architectural clarity converge into a singular expression of time.

At its heart lies Grandeur’s in-house Jump Flap Hour Module, a world-first complication, officially registered and patented under the Grandeur name. This proprietary mechanism redefines the hour display through an instantaneous jumping “flap” aperture, paired with a sweeping retrograde minute indication that resets with controlled mechanical precision.

Powering this innovation is a meticulously re-engineered Calibre 5000A base movement, enhanced by an unprecedented achievement in watchmaking: the world’s first stone micro-rotor, crafted from natural meteorite. This extraordinary rotor unites cosmic materiality with functional efficiency, transforming the act of winding into a celestial gesture.

The Monocle’s dial and chapter ring are sculpted entirely from authentic meteorite stone, each piece revealing a unique Widmanstätten pattern formed over millions of years in space—ensuring that no two watches are ever alike.

Encased within a refined 42 mm profile and only 10 mm in thickness, Monocle achieves remarkable mechanical density without compromising elegance. It is a watch designed not merely to be worn, but to be contemplated.

Limited, uncompromising, and unmistakably Grandeur—Monocle is not an evolution of timekeeping. It is a declaration.

The hour

Through an aperture.

One window glides across the hour ring for sixty minutes, then snaps back as the next numeral lands. Beneath it, a single hand fans across the guilloché sector and flies home in the same instant.

The calibre

Wound by a stone that fell from space.

A re-engineered Calibre 5000A automatic carries the Grandeur module and the world's first meteorite micro-rotor. 28,800 vibrations per hour, around forty hours of reserve, on view through the sapphire caseback.
